Aditi Rao and Chitrangada Singh walk the ramp for Debarun Mukherjee, celebrating Indian cinema!- Aakriti Sharma


“The collection is a modern interpretation of Bollywood styles inspired by the different eras of Bollywood”  Debarun’s take on his designs.

Aditi Rao Hydari 
The show was opened by Aditi Rao Hydri wearing grey voluminous lehenga with a net sleeved choli and sparkling duppatta along with the shimmery hair accessory, hair done in side-swept waves, reminiscent of the black and white era of the 30s and 40s.The collection was a magnificent interplay of colors in fusion with fine-looking fabrics and eye catching embroidery. The line represented various decades of Bollywood with captivating music in the background creating an aura of the depicted era in the collection.

The 40s era was further followed by Eastman colour era and later by Technicolor decade of the 70s and 80s. Furthermore, the 90s was packed in colors of teal green, golden, sapphire blue and purple.
Songs and dialogs in the background from all the famous movies of the decades added oomph to the line of collection. 
The show was closed by Chitrangada Singh, in beige and maroon lehenga-choli with maroon motifs and net dupatta with sparkling sequence work on it.
