Devnaagri- a name well known for Indian apparel organised a preview for their spring summer collection Mogra on Friday, 5th Feb at their store in New Delhi.
The collection was inspired by the multi-faceted characteristic of Jasmine. The way this flower is versatile, so was the collection, a true reflection! Designers Kavita and Priyanka Jain explained the patterns and design enthusiastically!

The collection was divided into six sub sections of lehenga-chollis, sarees, full length suits, kurtis, shararas and suits with palazzo pants. The designs consisted of striking floral patterns in gota, butie and zari work, sophisticated thread work, bold block prints and fine geometrical patterns on soothing yet, eye-catching pastels. Fabrics like net, chanderi silk and cotton, satin and pure cotton were used in the entire set of clothing.
Not only this, Devnaagri has a color for everyone, on the basis of zodiac signs which is quite interesting to see in the fashion arena. The floral patterns in the designing were symbolic of women as gentle beings, whereas the geometrical designs represented the clear headed and focused side of women. (How cool is that!)The complete collection justified the underlying message of the brand ‘label for a woman of substance’.
The event also gave a chance to the attendees to try their hand at block printing. So, how could The Insider lag behind? Here's a piece of my creativity! Check this out!! and of course like and share!
